I'm leaving for Gold Coast tomorrow to meet Alvin and Pei Kei! Can't

believe its tomorrow! Actually, this marks the beginning of my 12 day

trip before I leave this place. Anyway, I don't think I will be

blogging for some time due to busy schedules so I might as well post

something short to tahan a few days.

Last Wednesday, I went to explore Indooroopilly. It is said that

Indooroopilly is a famous shopping spot because of it's large shopping

center. Well, if you compare to those in Malaysia, that is just

peanut. Anyway, I just thought I go and have a look since I haven't

been there and also because Jaecy just finished 2 tests, so it will be

good to take some time off to relax a little.

We wanted to grab a bite before we leave for Indooropilly, though it

wasn't far away. Just 3 zones. So we went to the food court and came

across this shop that sells all the fried stuff. It's just like eating

'lobak' except it is Western style and of course, more expensive. I

looked at the tray and saw something called Kabana. Somehow, it

reminded me of Doonga sausages that I had to collect in the online

game call, R.O.S.E. It doesn't taste that good, and people definitely

don't look good eating it.

We finally reached Indooroopilly and immediately started window

shopping. That's what we do :D When you are low on funds and

everything else is so expensive, the least you could do is try on some

clothes or just feed your eyes and use your imagination. I came across

this shop called Mombasa and I saw the clock on display! Do you

remember this post? Well, even if its on sale, I wouldn't have bought

it cos I'm over it!

Although Mombasa sells only female clothes, I actually bought

something! I bought myself a girlfriend for 5aud. It is suppose to

grow 600% of it's size over 3 days in water. It will slowly shrink

back to its normal size over time, when removed from water. Cool? I

don't know. Never had one of this so I thought I'd get one to try.

They even included the top 10 reasons you must have her on the box...

But a few days after that, I saw many other "Grow-A-(insert word

here)". Though different manufacturer and all, its all the same

concept. There's grow a Spongebob, grow a dog, etc etc and not just

grow a gf or bf. Plus, it also has color! Better than my purple

coloured gf. -.-" Ish...felt cheated. But anyway, nothing is more

original than growing a human rite?

After walking around for a while, I actually felt something was amiss.

My real gf! Although I was holding her hand, I actually felt she was

missing cos she wasn't buzzing...I mean, she's that type of gurl that

just has lots of things to say even though there's nothing. She'll go

around making noise, and a whole bunch of other stuff just to keep

things lively. It's not a bad thing you know, especially if your bf is

one like me that is rather lifeless. So, when she kept quiet, I felt

something was wrong...Then I ask her why, and she just said she's

tired. Maybe? Or issit too boring....I dunno.

I suggested that we get coffee because I know coffee can get her

hyperactive! But then while I was searching for a cafe, I spotted a

pet shop! Pets are the 2nd thing that can turbocharge this gurl. We

were also lucky that the shop attendant was cleaning the enclosures,

and he asked us if we would like to hold the dog while he cleans it.

OH YES! OF COURSE YES! I am super confident that she's gonna get

SUPERCHARGE after this and yes she did. Also, cos I said earlier that

we are going to get coffee, she insisted that I still get her coffee

although she was already fully charged..... -.-"

After the coffee break, we left Indooroopilly but stopped at Toowong

Village. It is also another shopping center on the way back to the

city. Wait, I won't call it a shopping center. I'll call it a village,

just like it's name because it is so freaking small and sells nothing

but crap inside! LAME!

We left immediately after a few minutes upon reaching. But we didn't

stop shopping :P We continued back at Queen St Mall in the city. After

running around those so called shopping spots, I finally learn to

appreciate Queen St Mall....
